Vintage Series MKI.5 Tone Bender (Fuzz)
The Mythical Fuzz
Often known as the mythical fuzz due to the very few original examples which exist, the MKI.5 Tone Bender was produced in 1966 and remains one of the rarest fuzz pedals in history. It was the first Tone Bender to feature the iconic Grey Hammerite Aluminium Casing, making it instantly recognizable among pedal enthusiasts.
Distinct Circuit Design
The MKI.5 Tone Bender introduced a new circuit design that set it apart from its predecessors, the MK I models. This fuzz employed a 2x OC75 transistor circuit, which contributed to its unique sound, distinguished by its rich, gritty distortion.
A Legendary Pedal in Abbey Road Studios
One of the few MKI.5 Tone Benders made its way into the legendary Abbey Road Studios, where it was used by none other than George Harrison of The Beatles. This connection to the Fab Four adds to the pedal's legendary status among collectors and musicians alike.
