Vintage Series Professional MKII Tone Bender OC75 (Fuzz)
A Tribute to 1966
The BPC MKII Tone Bender is a meticulously crafted replica of the 1966 PROFESSIONAL MK II Tone Bender, originally created by Gary Hurst. This pedal is a faithful recreation of the iconic fuzz that defined an era of music, offering guitarists the chance to experience the classic tones of the past.
The MKII Tone Bender Circuit
Unlike the MKI.5 version, the MKII Tone Bender features a 3-transistor circuit. Depending on production and supply, these circuits were built with either OC75 or OC81D transistors. The OC75-loaded MKII, in particular, is known for its powerful, rich fuzz tones, which can be heard on the legendary track "Keep on Running" by The Spencer Davis Group.
