The Tube-Vibe™ is a radical new kind of vibe pedal built using old-school thermionic technology! Instead of transistors, this psychedelic phasing machine utilizes vacuum tubes, photocells, and a pulsating filament lamp to generate rich, swirling, phase-blurred chorus and vibrato effects.

  • All Tube: Vacuum tube circuitry operating at real amp plate voltages for low background noise and stacks of headroom—the ultimate in audiophile performance!
  • Dual LFOs: The “Classic” setting authentically replicates the deep, lopsided throb of the Uni-Vibe. The “Smooth” setting produces the dreamy, ethereal meta-chorus of a Hammond B-3. Further, the LFO can be halted (frozen) so that it operates as a sweepable notch filter creating hollow-sounding scooped tones.
  • Chorus/Vibrato Switch: Select between the classic Hendrix/Trower Uni-Vibe chorus and Gilmourish pitch-shifting vibrato.
  • High input impedance: Your guitar pickup “sees” a 1MΩ tube amp input stage, ensuring a wide, open, and clear tone. In comparison, the input resistance of the Uni-Vibe is only 69KΩ. This is low enough to load single coil pickups and dull the tone of the guitar.
  • True Bypass Switching: With Effectrode’s unique “anti-pop” bypass circuitry utilizing a sealed, gold-contact relay.
  • “Dakaware” Knobs: Authentic Bakelite Dakaware Chicago knobs manufactured in the U.S.A. using the original 1940s molds!
  • Purple LED: Throbs & pulsates with modulation speed for visual song tempo matching
  • Includes 12VDC 1.5A Wall-Wart: High-quality low-noise switched mode power supply operating from 100-240VAC mains input. Supplied with various adapter plugs to facilitate connection to mains outlets in other countries. Compatible with all Effectrode pedals.
